Seventh graders recently learned about archaeology by participating in a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dig. This activity was a fun way to reinforce some of the vocabulary the students had learned from their readings.. These words include: Archaeologist Excavate Artifacts Along with this activity students read about archaeology and annotated text to learn important vocabulary. We followed up with a field trip to America's Stonehenge. You can learn more about America's Stonehenge here.
